Raquel Rodriguez aka Iris Dee Jay started producing Music in 1999 when she got in her hands her first computer. After staying a while checking the old trackers, she got involved with computer based sequencing. Iris's first music productions were making eurodance music, singing her own tracks and trying her best to self teach new skills.

 

After working as a team with several formations, Iris started her solo career as a DJ and producer performing in several events and raves around Spain and catching listeners everywhere because of her particlar style.

 

Some great achievements to date have been appearing on Spanish television, being on the cover of newspapers and making collaborations with female and male singers from all around the world, from classical musicians to trumpet players and guitarists.

 

In 2010 Iris collaborated with the Finnish vocalist Maria Opale. Their track “Leave A Sign” was picked up by Armada sub label Magic Island owned by Roger Shah. The track also featured on a Magic Island compilation.

 

At the moment Iris is working with the dj and producer from the USA Robert Holland and the singer from the same country Erin Lewis. This new team has released in Black Hole Recordings and other new labels that are well known today.

 

Raquel keeps on learning every day, studying new production techniques abroad and focusing her career in teaching, her biggest aim. She has been giving lessons for 10 years now to people from all around the world. Her main words are:
